Heart Evangelista shares throwback photo of her parents: 'May pinagmanahan'

By now, we should already know where Heart Evangelista got her gorgeous looks.

On TikTok, the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon hopped on the "A Glimpse of Us" trend, where she posted a throwback photo of her parents, followed by her solo picture.

"Mom and dad," the proud daughter wrote in the caption with a matching heart emoji.

The photo of her parents was taken at a restaurant while they were enjoying some bread, both wearing their blazers.

"No wonder you're so gorg! May pinagmanahan! Ganda ng genes!" a user said.

"Kaya pala super pretty mo teh," another user commented.

Heart's mom, Cecile Ongpauco, was present at the Kapuso star's renewal of wedding vows with Senator Chiz Escudero in February.

Heart's dad, Rey Ongpauco, was not able to join them because of his health condition.

In 2015, during Heart and Chiz's wedding, both her parents were absent, which Rey admitted to regretting in 2021.

"Sayang. Naging bati na sana kami no'n," he said.

Chiz said that he knew his relationship with Heart's parents would eventually get better.

"I knew from the beginning that it would be alright. It's just a matter of time. I believed in that. I was confident in that," he said.
