Can friends be business partners? Candy Pangilinan, Gelli De Belen answer

Candy Pangilinan and Gelli De Belen just made a visit to "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

On Thursday's episode, they talked about their friendship and were also asked whether they think friends can be business partners.

"That is an ideal situation na hindi kayo ano para walang problema, 'di ba? Para friendship is friendship, it's forever, whatever, pero I suppose if there are parameters, if there's a contract, if there's something that's clear, black-and-white, it is possible," Gelli said.

Candy agreed, saying they did the same on a project they worked on together.

"I think we did that nung gumawa kami ng show for another platform, 'yung for 'Wala Pa Kaming Title,'" she said.

Candy continued, "I made sure, talagang kumuha ako ng lawyer na talagang ipina-check ko talaga sa lawyer lahat ta's pinabasa ko sa kanila."

Gelli said that it is important for friends to have money talks.

"Dapat pinag-uusapan nga eh. Para 'Uy, hanggang ano lang ako, 500 lang ako ah?" she said. "It's part of the communication lalo na you have to be ano eh…you have to be clear, you have to be open."

Gelli celebrated her birthday last month and received a sweet gift from Candy's son, Quentin.

The thoughtful boy also took his ninang out for pizza, which he paid using his savings.

Last April, Gelli flew to France with her husband, Ariel Rivera.
