Laureen Uy, Miggy Cruz celebrate Christmas with ‘grief and gratitude’ after miscarriage

Laureen Uy and Miggy Cruz remain filled with love during the holidays after suffering a miscarriage.

The content creator shared a photo with her husband holding her pregnant belly on Instagram.

In her caption, Laureen wrote, “This Christmas, we hold the weight of our grief and the warmth of our gratitude together.”

“Though we mourn, we also find solace in the love we carry and the moments of joy that still grace our lives. Slowly learning that grief and gratitude can indeed coexist,” she added.

Laureen said that they trust in God’s plan and continue to have hope and love.

“In this season of giving, we remember that even in loss, love endures,” she said.

Laureen also shared a message to their daughter: “We love you Miles and we miss you everyday.”

Laureen and Miggy have been dating since 2016, announced their engagement in 2023, and got married in April of this year.

In October, Laureen announced that she and Miggy were expecting their first child together.

Earlier this December, Laureen revealed she suffered a miscarriage. Their baby girl’s heart stopped beating, and Laureen called it the “worst day of her life.”
