Mark Herras on taking jobs as family's provider: 'As long as 'di naman ako lugi, wala akong tinatapakan na tao'

After going viral for dancing at a gay bar, Mark Herras said that all he wants is to be able to provide for his family.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, Mark said that he made it clear that he's not going after a very bright career.

"Lagi naman akong vocal about it na gusto kong makapag-provide for my family, lalo na sa mga anak ko, lalo na ngayon magiging dalawa na sila," he said.

Mark is down to accept new jobs "as long as alam kong 'di naman ako lugi sa talent fee, at the same time wala akong tinatapakan na tao, sabi nga nila, at legal, I'll do it."

He also said that he's no longer affected by the issues being thrown at him.

In his interview on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Mark said that a hip hop dance performance was all he did at the gay bar and that his wife, Nicole Donesa, knew about his gig.

"Pumasok ako sa venue no'ng malapit na po akong sumalang. Nasa kotse lang all the time, then pumunta ako sa backstage nung malapit na akong mag-perform," he said.

Mark rose to fame as the first Ultimate Male Survivor in GMA Network's reality talent competition show, "StarStruck," in 2003.
