Ashley Ortega on age gap with Mavy Legaspi: 'Parang ako nga 'yung pabebe girl'

Despite Mavy Legaspi being almost three years younger than Ashley Ortega, he is mature when it comes to handling their relationship.

During Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the actress said she did not think they would be able to make it work at first due to their age gap.

"I thought before hindi niya ma-match 'yung maturity ko. Kasi ano eh, he's younger than me. He's three years younger than me," she said.

But first impressions don't last forever as it turned out that Mavy is mature enough to be with Ashley.

"Parang in our relationship, parang ako nga 'yung pabebe girl. He takes care of me," Ashley said.

Ashley also bared their upcoming Valentine’s date in a restaurant, which is a first time for the actress.

"Actually, first time ko [magkaroon] ng Valentine's Day ng Feb. 14. So, I think it's a first for me also to experience it. Kasi yung mga past ko before, sablay lagi," she said.

"'Yung una ko, parang we broke up before Valentine's Day. The second one was LDR. He was in the States. 'Yung pangatlo naman, nasa lock-in taping ako. So, hopefully, sana hindi ma-jinx this Friday. Matuloy na," Ashley added.

In the same interview, Ashley admitted that she and Mavy are now together.

The two sparked dating rumors earlier in January after being spotted together in Cebu for the Sinulog Festival.

Mavy was previously in a relationship with Kyline Alcantara. Ashley, meanwhile, previously dated Lucena City mayor Mark Alcala.
