Ashley Ortega says she has not seen her mom yet: 'I really want to see you as soon as possible'
Ashley Ortega guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Monday where she shared that she has not had the opportunity yet to talk to her mother.
According to the Sparkle star, she went to their house and brought flowers a few days after she was evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," but no one was at home at the time.
"Nag-iwan po ako ng flowers outside, and I texted her also. She hasn't responded, not yet," Ashley told Tito Boy.
During her time in Kuya's house, Ashley shared that she has not spoken to her mom for three years and hopes she can forgive her. Prior to being evicted, Ashley received a letter of reconciliation from her mother.
When asked by Tito Boy what the root cause was for their strained relationship, Ashley said that it stems from many things.
"Marami, Tito Boy eh, marami pinanggalingan but of course, at the end of the day, alam ko meron din akong pagkakamali. It's more of like, parang as I get older, my mom becomes stricter," she explained.
"So, kumbaga parang I wanted to grow, I wanted to learn and make decisions on my own, pero parang dun nanggaling 'yun eh, parang I wouldn't have the freedom to decide for myself, so parang dun nagsimula 'yun."
Ashley also had a message for her mom in case she was watching her interview on "Fast Talk."
"Of course, ma, I really want to see you as soon as possible, and of course I want to talk to her," she said, adding that she did not expect to receive a letter at all from her mom while inside PBB.
"I wasn't expecting something from my mom but I would reach out to my mom talaga, but again, I'm giving her time. When I left the house, 'yun talaga, isa siya sa mga unang pinuntahan ko."
