Iya Villania shares video of Drew Arellano post-vasectomy: ‘Congratulations, bub’

Iya Villania gave a hilarious glimpse of Drew Arellano moments after he underwent a vasectomy.

On Instagram Stories, Iya shared a clip showing Drew lying down, “still groggy” following the procedure.

“Congratulations, bub,” Iya told Drew.

Iya then panned the camera closer to Drew, who went on to sing his little “Happy Va-sec-to-me” song to the tune of “Happy Birthday.”

In another post, Iya revealed Drew's vasectomy is actually "late [because] this was supposed to happen last year."

"And then Anya happened so this time, he made sure," the Chika Minute host added.

Drew and Iya have been married since 2014. They have five kids: Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.

In 2023, Drew opened up about his plan to get a vasectomy, which is a form of male birth control that stops sperm from leaving the body.

The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) has promoted non-scalpel vasectomy as a form of contraception for men. It is said to be 99.8% effective and only needs to be done once.
