Shaira Diaz, EA Guzman turn emotional in K-Drama-inspired prenup video

Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman could not help but tear up as they talked about their relationship in their prenuptial video.

The couple had a K-Drama-inspired video, with EA’s song “Habambuhay” playing in the background.

Shaira and EA spoke about their 12-year relationship and its challenges while sitting at a park. EA asked Shaira about the hardest part of waiting in their relationship.

“Sa kabila ng tagal ng paghintay sa atin, hindi ko alam kung hanggang kalian ka nandiyaan para sa akin,” Shaira said.

The Kapuso Morning Sunshine admitted to having what-ifs in their relationship: “Pano pag biglang paggising ko, ayaw na niya, pagod na pala siya sa kakahintay.”

“Madaming worries na, oh my gosh, na kakahintay mo mapagod ka na, may mahanap kang better kesa sa ‘kin,” she added.

EA said he also asked himself whether he could wait and if he could survive their relationship setup that he knows is a challenge.

“Pero every single day na magkasama tayo, magkausap tayo, laging may sagot dun sa mga tanong ko na ‘yun, kung hanggang kailan,” EA said.

“And ito, umabot tayo sa 12 years. Dun sa pagmamahal na binibigay mo sa ‘kin everyday, dun ako kumapit. And thank you for loving me,” he added.

Shaira told EA: “Thank you for waiting for me.”

EA meanwhile said that the wait was worth it because he became a better person.

“Binago mo ‘ko in a positive way. Sa trabaho, ginalingan ko, in-improve ko kasi ikaw ang inspiration ko. Sa family ko, mas minahal ko ang pamilya ko gaya ng pagmamahal ko sa ‘yo,” he said.

The couple has been engaged since 2021, but only publicized it in 2024.

They marked their 12th anniversary in February, their last as boyfriend and girlfriend, as they are set to get married this month.
