Ashley Ortega attends Carmina Villarroel's surprise birthday party

Ashley Ortega was one of those who attended Carmina Villarroel's surprise birthday celebration.

According to Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras" Monday, the Sparkle star had long been aware of the surprise birthday plan for Carmina, organized by her boyfriend Mavy Legaspi and his twin sister Cassy.

"Mavy at Cassy, they are good in planning din naman. Siguro ang naging ambag ko sa party ay kumanta lang ako. Naging karaoke night kasi 'yon," she said. 

Ashley also shared that her favorite part of the intimate party was the heartfelt message from Carmina's husband, Zoren Legaspi.

"Na-touch ako sa sinabi ni Tito Zoren na even though matagal na sila together parang each day na-experience niya pa rin 'yung feeling na na-iinlove kay Tita Carmina," Ashley said.

Carmina celebrated her 50th birthday on Sunday. Previously, Mavy took to Instagram to greet his mom whom he called the "heart of the family."

Ashley confirmed her relationship with Mavy in February.
