Brunei’s Prince Mateen, Princess Anisha expecting first child

A royal baby is on the way!

Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and his wife, Princess Anisha Kalebic, are expecting their first child together.

The polo-playing Prince shared the good news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself with Princess Anisha as she cradled her baby bump.

“And then there were 3,” Prince Mateen wrote in the caption.

International celebrities flocked to the comment section to congratulate the couple, including “Crazy Rich Asians” star Henry Golding and Thai actress Sonya Singha.

Prince Mateen and Princess Anisha tied the knot in 2024 in a lavish 10-day royal wedding that ran from January 7 to 16.

Philippine President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos were among the attendees .

Two Filipino creatives were also part of the historic wedding celebration: Denise Go Ochoa was behind Princess Anisha’s bridal look, while Filipino photographer Mark Nicdao was among those who captured the couple’s official portraits.
