KC Concepcion on her relationship with Sharon Cuneta: 'Sobrang OK na kami ni mama' 

All is well now between KC Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta.

On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," KC opened up about her previously strained relationship with her mom, saying that she is happy that everything is going well between their family.

"After a while, sobrang OK na kami ni mama. Sobrang nagmamahalan kaming pamilya. So napakasaya ko po. Iba talaga 'yung feeling kapag OK," the actress said.

According to KC, she and her mom patched things out on Christmas Day when Sharon visited her home. During her visit, the both of them talked for hours.

"Sobrang excited ko po, mga four to five hours po kami nag-usap sa living room ko and lahat napag-usapan namin. Para kaming best friends," she added.

She also said that she was surprised when Sharon celebrated her 40th birthday with her in April. 

"Na-surprise talaga ako. May mga butler kasi sa mga villa, sabing ganoon, 'Andito na po 'yung cake n'yo. Kailangan na po nating mag-blow ng kandila.' Ah OK. So naglakad ako. Nasaan 'yung cake? Hanggang ngayon wala pa 'yung cake. Pero ang nandoon si mama. Sabi, 'Ito na 'yung cake mo. Surprise,'" KC said.

They also spent some time together, with the both of them sharing a bed for the first time in years. 

"Nag-share kami [ng room] at first time ko ulit tumabi kay mama after 100 million years and doon ko po talaga na-feel na naku nagmamahalan talaga kaming mag-nanay," she said.

KC also shared the most important thing she learned from her mom about love. 

"[Sabi niya] 'wag mong masyadong isipin 'yung sasabihin ng mga tao. And may mga dumating sa buhay ko na talagang sinabi niya sa akin na, 'When in doubt, don't.' [Tinanong ko] bakit, may nafifi-feel ka ba? Basta, anak, kung mayroon kang doubt, kung nagdadalawang isip ka, 'wag na,'" she said.

Sharon and KC have reunited several times recently after not seeing each other for a while.

In December 2024, KC said she was "ending the year right" by having a meaningful conversation with her mom.
