AiAi Delas Alas says Gerald Sibayan’s green card petition has been revoked

AiAi Delas Alas revealed that her ex-husband Gerald Sibayan's green card petition has been revoked. 

The Comedy Queen graced Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” where she revealed that filing for the revocation of Gerald’s green card application was her payback for herself after getting hurt. 

“Noong una ayoko talagang gawin ‘yon. Pero noong bandang huli, naisip ko parang ayoko namang maging santa or something. Kasi parang ‘yun na lang ba ‘yung parang, kahit pangit [pakinggan], pero ‘yun na lang ‘yung ganti ko para sa sarili na nasaktan ako,” AiAi said.

“Siya naman ‘yung nagsabi kasi na gusto niyang pumunta ng America eh. Hindi naman ako ‘yung nagbigay sa kaniya na, 'halika na, punta na tayong America.' Siya naman ‘yung nagsabi na gusto niyang pumuntang America,” she added.

According to the Kapuso star, Gerald's green card petition was revoked at the same time she filed for divorce. However, her divorce is still pending.

“Narevoke na ‘yon kasabay ‘yon ng divorce ko. Pero ‘yung divorce ko hindi pa lumalabas,” she said.

AiAi said in an October 2024 “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview that she and Gerald have separated after 10 years of being together.

"Hiwalay na kami. Last month pa. Basta hindi ko makakalimutan. October 14, nag-chat siya, madaling araw sa Pilipinas. 'Yun nga. Sinabi niya na gusto niya magkaanak at hindi na siya happy," AiAi said.

"So medyo confused ako and shocked, and bakit ngayon? Bakit ngayong oras na 'to? Sana hinintay mo man lang ako makauwi sa Amerika," she added.

AiAi said one of Gerald's reasons for their separation was his desire to have children. The actress, who is already 60 years old, can no longer naturally conceive a baby.

The actress tearfully said that she and Gerald tried to conceive a child via in vitro fertilization (IVF), but they lost two of their three embryos.

AiAi also revealed that Gerald cheated on her in 2019, which gave her trust issues.

In December 2024, AiAi said she and Gerald are not on speaking terms.
