Lotlot De Leon mourns passing of Yaya Pat who was ‘part of family for almost 40 years’

Lotlot De Leon is mourning the passing of Yaya Pat, who became part of their family for almost four decades.

On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of them together, recalling how just a few months ago, their family also lost some of their loved ones.

“Ngayon, isa na namang malapit sa amin ang namaalam,” she wrote in the caption. “Yaya Pat has been part of our family for almost 40 years.”

She said that Yaya Pat took care of her youngest brother, Ken, and then started helping her right before she gave birth to Janine Gutierrez.

“From that moment on, Yaya Pat became one of the greatest blessings to me, to Monching, and to our children. She loved and cared for each one of us wholeheartedly — especially our kids. I honestly couldn’t have imagined trusting anyone else with my children the way I trusted her,” she said.

Lotlot expressed her gratitude for Yaya Pat’s loyalty, kindness, and unconditional love.

“She will always be part of our family — and her family, ours — forever,” she said. “Ya, salamat sa pagmamahal mo sa mga anak namin ni Mon. Rest now, Ya. Mahal ka namin.”

In April, Lotlot mourned the passing of her mom, Nora Aunor, and her former mother-in-law, Pilita Corrales.

The following month, Ricky Davao, the uncle of her kids, also passed away.
