Carla Abellana confirms engagement with non-showbiz boyfriend

It's confirmed: Carla Abellana is engaged.

The actress confirmed the good news through Tito Boy, who made the announcement on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Tuesday.

"Minessage naman si Carla kung talagang engaged na ba siya. Kinumpirma ni Carla. We asked permission if  we can actually confirm this in the program if she is indeed engaged and she said sure. Napakagandang balita po," Tito Boy said.

Previously, the Kapuso actress posted a photo of her left hand held by someone. On her fourth finger was a ring.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future," she wrote on Instagram.

Carla confirmed that she is dating someone in August. She previously talked about her mystery date in an interview on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

In October, she addressed rumors that she is getting married. 

"Kung totoo man po 'yun o hindi, of course, that's part of my private life, I would like to keep it private. I invoke my right to self-incrimination, so I refuse to say yes, I refuse to say no," Carla said.

Carla was previously married to Tom Rodriguez. They tied the knot in 2021 and got divorced in 2022. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
