Paolo Contis says he is now friends with ex-wife Lian Paz, her husband John Cabahug

Paolo Contis said that he now shares a friendship with his ex-wife Lian Paz and her husband John Cabahug.

In his guesting in "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, the Kapuso actor opened up about his relationship with the couple and his kids with Lian: Xonia and Xalene.

"It was a very long process and sabi ko nga ang isa sa pinakatamang ginawa ko ay I kept it private. Before kasi tuwing tinatanong ako, nakukwento ko kung anong nangyayari. So nagkakaroon ng malice siguro on their part of what I do," Paolo said.

"Pero it was a very long process at masasabi ko na hindi siya nahilaw, hinog na hinog na. And I can say with Lian and John na hindi kami civil. Friends kami," he added.

Previously, Paolo, Xalene, Xonia, Lian, and John all attended the Blackpink concert together. Paolo also brought John and Xalene to the set of "Bubble Gang." 

The bonding sessions come at the heels of Paolo reuniting with Xalene, Xonia, Lian, and John last August. Back then, the actor promised "constant communication."

In recent months, the actor has been spending time with his daughters and sharing sweet messages.
