How did Camille Prats and VJ Yambao’s kids accept their relationship? Couple answers

Before getting married, Camille Prats and her husband, VJ Yambao, had kids from their previous relationships.

Camille is a parent to Nathan, her son with her late husband, Anthony Linsangan, who passed away in 2011 due to nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Meanwhile, VJ is a father to Ice. 

During the couple’s guesting on  “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, Camille and VJ said that they 
 to their children honestly about their relationship.

“When VJ came into our lives of both Nathan and I, Nathan was about five years old. So parang when I introduced VJ to him he was somehow the first father figure na nakilala ni Nathan after what happened to his dad,” Camille shared. 

According to Camille, she only introduced VJ to her then-five-year-old son once she was certain that VJ was serious about their relationship.

“So noong alam kong sure na ako sa kaniya, na parang, 'uy mukhang seseryosohin niya kaming mag-ina at 'yung intensyon niya naman ay klaro' I introduced him to Nathan. So from the get-go, Nathan really saw him as the father,” the Kapuso star said, adding that Nathan was happy to meet VJ.

Meanwhile, VJ shared that building a relationship with Nathan was “flawless” rather than “easy,” as the young boy saw a father figure in him.

“Noong pinapasok ko 'yung relationship na yon, I knew na hindi lang si Camille, I knew na mayroong Nathan so malinaw ‘yon sa isip ko na hindi lang si Camille, I would also include Nathan in the picture and vice versa,” he added. 

How about Camille’s dynamics with Ice, whom she met when he was eight years old? 

The actress simply said, “You know, to be honest, Tito Boy, Ice is very easy.”

Camille and VJ got married in 2017. They have two kids together: Nala and Nolan.
