How does Bianca King describe herself as a mother?

During her guesting in “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Monday, the newly minted Sparkle actress opened up about her life as a mother.

According to Bianca, she is a “professional mother” who has made motherhood a career to nurture her child.

“[I’m an] excellent mother. Ibibigay ko sa sarili ko ang lahat ng award ng nanay na meron diyan. Kasi peak performance ako as a mother. Ang joke ko nga eh is I am a professional mother,” Bianca shared. 

She went on to share how she fully commits herself to motherhood, treating it not just as a role, but as a calling she continuously studies and improves on.

“Kina-career ko talaga siya from studying, sleep, nutrition, how to raise a child, toys, books. Everything like I feel like ito na 'yung pagkakataon ko to mold a human being,” Bianca said.

“Kung anong feeling kong pagkukulang ko sa akin pwede kong ibigay sa kaniya. Napakalaking privilege ‘yun na makapagmold ka ng human being na hopefully maging maganda ang impact sa world." 

As she returns to showbiz after six years, Bianca shared that she felt the need to come back to find balance in her life, admitting that she lost herself after stepping away from the limelight.

“Kasi kailangan kong alagaan ‘yung sarili ko. I guess ‘yung pinakamagandang way para i-describe ko ‘yon is kumikita ako at nagtatrabaho ako for myself since I was 15. So hindi mo maaalis sa akin na I’m a hard worker, I’m an artist, I like to do my own thing, so I felt I lost myself. Nawala 'yung sense of self,” she shared.

Bianca also said that she believes balancing different aspects of her life will allow her to become a better mother and wife.

“Feeling ko mas magiging mabuting ina at wife pa ako kung mayroon akong buhay outside of the household, kung mayroong balance,” she said.

“I’m not saying everyone has to do that, I’m not saying that it’s the gold standard of being a mother. It’s just the way I was built as a human being that even if I love being at home, and I’m happy doing nothing and just [being] with my child and cooking, it’s not enough," she added. 

Bianca is married to Ralph Wintle, the brother of Iza Calzado’s husband Ben.

They have a daughter named Sadie, whom they welcomed in May 2023.

Bianca recently signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
