Sandra Lemonon, Sol Mercado expecting second child
Beauty queen Sandra Lemonon and her husband, basketball player Sol Mercado, are expecting their second child.
The couple made the announcement via Instagram, with a sweet photo of Sol and their son, Zaiah, touching Sandra's stomach.
Other photos showed Zaiah posing on the beach with "Big Bro" written on the sand, as well as a biscuit with the words "We are pregnant!"
"Little Z has been preparing to be a Big Brother. 3 months of growing with you," Sandra wrote in the caption, including an emoji of a lotus flower.
She also thanked the little one growing in her belly for being good to her during pregnancy.
"Thank you for blessing/choosing us to be your family & for taking good care of mama, no morning sickness, no aches/pains & for teaching me to listen closely to what my body needs/asking for by simply listening as we create life together," said the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate.
"Soaking up all these precious moments of being pregnant as I know I will miss this feeling… We are patiently waiting for you yet excited to meet you on earth side my sweet love."
Sandra and Sol announced their engagement in March 2022.
They welcomed their son, Zaiah Rafael Mercado, in June 2022.
They officially tied the knot in Bali, Indonesia, in September 2024.
