Bea Borres calls giving daughter her last name ‘one of the proudest moments of my life’

Bea Borres opened up about her journey as a single mother, posting a heartfelt message and reflection on social media.

On Facebook, the actress and content creator uploaded a photo of her daughter Victoria Hope Borres’ birth certificate, with details about her father marked N/A.

“Being called a single mother never really bothered me because I’m confident and know what I’m capable of & one of the proudest moments of my life as a woman was choosing to give my daughter my last name,” Bea wrote.

She also called out the unfair judgment that single mothers face.

“I still don’t get the shame and hatred towards single mothers, we never wanted to be one in the first place. so wag kayong feeling ulirang ama kung stress lang naman inambag niyo,” she said.

Earlier this week, Bea revealed that she had given birth to a daughter, whom she fondly calls Hopea, in December. After 44 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the baby was finally discharged.

Bea announced her pregnancy in August 2025. That same month, she shared a sonogram and revealed that she is having a baby girl. She also revealed the name of her baby in an interview with Toni Gonzaga. 

According to Bea, she will not be co-parenting with anyone.
