Izzy Trazona's trans child Sofia clarifies relationship: 'Sadyang naghiwalay lang ang landas namin'

Sofia Trazona has made it clear: her decision to become independent was entirely her own.

In a vlog interview with Ogie Diaz, Sofia shared that while she knows her mother, Izzy Trazona, loves her dearly, she chose to move in with her biological father because she was no longer comfortable with the “family dynamics” involving Izzy and Alvin Aragon.

“Hindi ko na kasi gusto ‘yung family dynamic na nakasanayan ko, and ‘pag nakikita kong financially struggling si mama, nasasaktan ako ng sobra,” she said.

Despite everything, Sofia emphasized that she has no doubts about her mother’s love.

“Kahit naman strong-willed yung faith ni mama, alam ko na tinuturing niya pa rin akong anak,” she said.

“Sadyang naghiwalay lang ‘yung landas namin dahil naging independent na nga rin ako,” she added.

Sofia also shared that it has been three years since she last saw her mother, although they communicate through text messages. She said her only wish is for Izzy to fully accept her when the time comes for them to reunite.

"Mahal na mahal kita Ma, hindi magbabago yun kahit na maraming hindi tayo pagkakaintindihan," Sofia said. "Excited na ko makita ka, sana magkita na tayo."

"Hindi naman na dinedemand ko siya... as long as she's ready, I'm ready," she added.

Earlier, Sofia took to social media to share portraits of herself wearing a red dress and declared that she is “trans and proud.”

In 2023, Izzy expressed her rejection of Sofia being a drag queen on social media, saying she only wanted to protect Andrei and her three other children from "going against the faith I have in Christ."
