Sofia Trazona receives heartwarming letter from dad Michael Navarro: ‘Patuloy akong magiging number one fan mo’

Sofia Trazona, the trans child of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, has received a letter from her biological father, Michael Navarro.

During her guesting on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, Tito Boy handed her the letter during the show, prompting Sofia to read it aloud in front of the audience. 

In the letter, Michael expressed his happiness for his daughter’s current life and reminded her to always cherish those who love and support her.

“Gusto ko sanang ipaalam sa 'yo na maligaya ako sa kalagayan mo ngayon dahil alam ko na masayang-masaya ka,” Michael began in his letter. 

“Gusto ko lang ipaalaala sa 'yo na huwag makakalimot sa mga taong nagmamahal at nagbigay importansya sa 'yo. Palaging isipin at gawin ang mababang kalooban sa lahat ng pagkakataon. Hindi ko pinagsisihan na naging anak kita,” he added.

He also added a humorous and supportive note for Sofia’s siblings if ever they identify as LGBTQ+ in the future. 

“Kung sakaling darating ang panahon na magiging bakla din ang kapatid mo, huwag ka mag-alala, ibibili ko rin siya ng makeup with high heels,” Michael quipped.

Ending his letter, Michael said that he will always be Sofia’s “number one fan” and will continue to clap for her.

“Patuloy akong magiging number one fan mo. Hindi man ako nakakasama sa mga shows mo, palagi akong pumapalakpak sa mga achievements mo,” he wrote.

“Whatever happens, ikaw si Andrei este Sofia na dalaga na ngayon ang mamahalin ko. Salamat anak sa lahat.”

Previously, Sofia has said that Michael fully embraces her identity as a transgender woman and that she is grateful for his incredible support.

Sofia and Izzy have been the subject of online debate after the latter’s husband, Alvin Aragon’s recent statements. 

Sofia previously shared that it has been three years since she last saw her mother, although they communicate through text messages. She said her only wish is for Izzy to fully accept her when the time comes for them to reunite.

Despite everything, Sofia emphasized that she has no doubts about her mother’s love.

In 2023, Izzy expressed her rejection of Sofia being a drag queen on social media, saying she only wanted to protect her and her three other children from "going against the faith I have in Christ."
