Dingdong Dantes reacts to 'power couple' blind item: 'Confident naman po kami na hindi kami 'yun'
Dingdong Dantes addressed rumors linking him and Marian Rivera to a blind item about a supposed “power couple” whose relationship is allegedly facing problems.
On “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” Sunday, Dingdong was asked about online speculation after some netizens guessed that the couple mentioned in the blind item could be him and Marian.
“Parang every year meron ho talagang mga gano’ng nakukuha. Una, sanay naman po. Pangalawa, eh confident naman po kami na hindi kami ‘yun. Basta ako, malinis tayo diyan,” he said.
[It seems there is a similar rumor that floats around every year. First, we are used to it, and second, we are confident it wasn't pertaining to us. For me, we are clear.]
Dingdong spoke about their 11-year marriage and how they have managed to keep their relationship strong despite both being high-profile personalities in showbiz.
“I think, malaking bagay po na nagkakilala kami at the time when halos natapos na ‘yung mga kailangan naming gawin as single people. Pero higit sa lahat, malaking bagay that nung umpisa pa lang, pareho ang gusto namin—and that is to just simply build the family. Everything revolves around there,” he said.
[I think it's a big deal that we met at a time when that we accomplished everything we wanted to do as single people. Most of all, it's a big thing that from the very beginning, we wanted the same thing, and that is to simply build the family. Everything revolves around there.]
Dingdong and Marian celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in December. They went with their kids, Zia and Sixto, to a beach resort in El Nido, Palawan.
The couple was recognized as Most Influential Celebrities at the 11th EdukCircle Awards in December 2025.
Last month, the Dantes family marked Easter Sunday at a park with a simple family practice: sitting down together to write their dreams, wishes, prayers, and reflections.
