Apple David confirms 'risky relationship' with Chad Gammad 

Apple David has confirmed she and Chad Gammad have been dating for a month now.

"I know it's very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it's a risk we are both taking," Apple said in a video statement.

"I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace," she added.

Apple and the Letran basketball player earlier became hot topic on social media as netizens took issue with their age. David is 33 years old, while Gammad only turned 18 in October 2025.

In a TikTok live Monday, David slammed netizens, saying "sobrang hirap bang rumespeto ng desisyon ng ibang tao? We're happy. Supportive ang families namin."

"Naiintindihan ko na bata siya but he's not a minor," she said in the video. "I'm not even a groomer, 18 na siya nung nakilala ko siya. Hindi ko naman siya pinalaki."

"I also have a choice. Masama ba bigyan ng chance 'yung 18 year old? Nag-click eh. What am I supposed to do?"

The TikTok video, which has since been deleted, made rounds online as netizens were able to download it.

In her statement aired on "Frontline Pilipinas," Apple apologized to those offended by their decision and thanked those who are able to understand.
