Ryan Bang confirms breakup with Paola Huyong

Ryan Bang just confirmed that he and his former fiancée Paola Huyong have broken up.

In Vice Ganda's latest YouTube vlog titled "Mga Naka Naka Kong Broken, Nagsalita Na!" Ryan said that he is now single and opened up on what happened between him and Paola.

"Tinry ko eh, tinry ko na ayusin. Kasi alam ko, nung panahon na 'yon, hindi ko maintindihan, ba't 'di umabot nang ganito," the "It's Showtime" host said.

"I was trying, I was hoping, I was praying na maayos," he added.

Ryan said he did not see the breakup coming and thought the relationship would be fixed.

"S'yempre sa relationship, meron din akong kasalanan pero I never cheat. Hindi totoo 'yun, 'yung sinasabi ng mga tao," Ryan said.

"I never cheat," he emphasized. "Even before, I never cheat. Hindi ako ganon. Serious din ako sa relationship."

Ryan admits that he also had shortcomings and mistakes in the relationship.

"S'yempre sobrang grateful pa rin ako kasi sobrang bait 'yung pamilya hanggang ngayon, lalo na 'yung magulang niya," he said.

Ultimately, Ryan said they split because of cultural differences.

"Magkaiba pala 'yung paniniwala, magkaiba pala 'yung gawi, tsaka magkaiba pala thinking lalo na pagdating sa marriage," he said.

Then after talking to both families, Ryan saw signs that he had to let go.

"Talagang tigil ang mundo. Sobrang hirap. Sobrang pagsisisi nung lahat," Ryan said, and added that it was the darkest and hardest time in his life.

Ryan went public with his relationship with Paola in 2023. He called her "The One" and "my forever Filipina."

They announced their engagement in June 2024 and met up with Ryan's parents.

In September 2025, rumors of the split circulated because Paola took down their engagement photos on Instagram.

In November 2025, Ryan was spotted at Paola's pop-up booth in Escolta, Manila. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
