Rere Madrid, Kai Sotto expecting first child

Rere Madrid and Kai Sotto are going to be parents.

The couple announced the news in a joint Instagram Reel on Monday. They showed clips of their loved ones reacting to Rere’s pregnancy, plus videos of their checkups and Rere’s growing baby bump.

“For a while, we’ve been living in our own little world. Holding onto a secret that made every day feel like an adventure,” the couple said in their caption.

“We're having a baby!!!” they added. “Our greatest adventure is just beginning, and you’re already the best part of it."

Celebrities like Rere’s brother Ruru Madrid and Ashley Ortega, as well as other supporters commented their congratulations.

Kai and Rere tied the knot at Neri's Secret Garden in Alfonso, Cavite, in late May.

Kai said he married "not just the love of my life, but my best friend, my peace, and my forever."

The couple hard-launched their relationship at the GMA Gala in 2024.
