Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co's wedding: More details revealed
Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co tied the knot in a civil ceremony officiated by Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay on Monday night.
It was a simple, private, and intimate civil wedding, with only a few guests and phone documentation.
Here are more details about the wedding that were revealed in Mariz Umali's report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday.
Bea and Vincent's wedding lasted no more than 10 minutes
Bea and Vincent tied the knot at the Office of the Mayor in Makati City Hall, an intimate affair held in a small room.
According to a trusted source, their wedding lasted no more than 10 minutes. Bea’s yaya and two common friends were among the witnesses.
Same-day wedding preps
The source added that the wedding plans had been mentioned to Binay back in May, but the couple decided they wanted to get married either that Friday or Sunday. However, this did not push through due to the city’s four-day workweek system.
It was on Monday, July 13, that one person arranged the necessary documents so the wedding would proceed. This was kept secret from the city hall staff.
It was also on Monday that the ring and flowers were prepared.
Take two of the ceremony
According to Umali, at one point during the ceremony, Bea did not have her bouquet, which was left at a table. Because of this, they had to do a second take of the ceremony so Bea could hold her bouquet.
No interviews and no photographers
Out of respect to the newlyweds' privacy, Binay chose not to grant an interview.
There were also no professional photographers and videographers during the wedding, which was only documented through cellphones.
Bea and Vincent also declined the Makati City Hall's offer to document their wedding.
Previously, Bea’s lawyer, Joey V. Garcia of Gera Law, addressed the couple’s prenuptial agreement, saying that the couple voluntarily signed it before the wedding.
"The earlier reports suggesting that there was any dispute, hesitation, or unresolved issue concerning a prenuptial agreement are not accurate," he said.
He added that there was no "legal impediment" arising from the signing of the prenup.
On Instagram on Wednesday, Bea shared black-and-white photos from her intimate wedding with Vincent, including snaps showing their rings and wedding cake.
Bea confirmed her relationship with Vincent in August 2025.
