London's Bread Ahead to open first Manila bakery in November
In the mood for bread?
Renowned British artisan bakery Bread Ahead is opening its first bakery in the Philippines come November!
Located at Glorietta 4 in Makati City, Bread Ahead’s first Philippine outpost will feature a full artisan bakery alongside a 150-seat restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and light dinner, with table service throughout the day.
Bread Ahead will bring its celebrated slow-fermented sourdough breads and pizzas, crave-worthy filled doughnuts such as the viral Crème Brûlée Doughnut, and crowd favorites including Sea Salted Caramel with Honeycomb, Pistachio, Raspberry, and Lemon Curd, among others.
As a special nod to the Philippines, it will introduce an exclusive Ube Doughnut, created specifically for the country.
Founded in 2013 at London's famed Borough Market the bakery and baking school is also looking to open a dedicated baking school in the Philippines by 2027 to give aspiring bakers, home cooks, and food enthusiasts the opportunity to learn its baking techniques firsthand through expert-led classes and workshops.
