Adobo-inspired Filipino burger served at Spitelsfield Bar and Seven Dials in UK
Spitelsfield Bar and Seven Dials, two restaurants under the Hawksmoor group in the United Kingdom, is offering a Filipino burger on a limited time offer.
Patrons are invited to try Chef Richard Turner's take on the adobo, the marinade of which he translated for a pork patty.
"Our #FilipinoBurger consists of a grilled pork pattie, topped with Richard Turner’s own take on traditional pork Adobo and Buffalo Mozzarella, in a brioche bun with onions, little gem, mayonnaise and banana ketchup. Served with pork chicharrones and coconut vinegar," Hawksmoor wrote on their official Facebook page.
In a separate post, they revealed that Turner had visited Manila and Tagaytay earlier in September and his food adventures inspired the burger.
