Baguio’s Ketchup Food Community reportedly closed
Days after Café Ruins’ has closed its original location, another Baguio establishment has also reportedly closed down. Ketchup Food Community, located near St. Joseph Church across Wright Park, is gone.
On Turistaboy.com, Baguio-based blogger Aldrick Agpaoa narrated how sometime in the last two months (between May and June) he brought his friends from Manila to the food hub only to find its gates closed.

“Rumour has it that the leasing contract of the community has expired thus the evacuation of the food hubs,” he wrote, adding, “no one imagined it wound end in the hands of a big pizza company.”
Speaking to GMA News Online, Agpaoa said he figured it would go to a pizza company because “a large tarpaulin covered the whole façade of the community.”
Ketchup Food Community, which opened in March 2012, was comprised of five food stalls that served delicious food from different cuisines. It was setup like a food park.
On his blog, Agpaoa said the food hub will be transferring to a new home somewhere near its original location. There are two different leads, Agapao said, so no confirmation can be made just yet.
But the good news is, they will definitely reopen. “Hopefully with the same vendors, but Canto now has a new and bigger location behind Burnham Children’s Park [so we don’t know].”
