Bolzico beef steaks are delicious — here’s where you can try some
Make no mistake about it: Bolzico beef steaks are delicious. Imported from Urien Loza Carnes, Argentina — where cows run free, living in a, ehem “stress-free environment” — the steaks are juicy, nuanced with flavor, and really, just a meat lover’s dream come true.
And it is exactly the first thing that Makati’s newly appointed chef de cuisine, Argentine Sebastian Barcudes, did at the hotel’s Safe Bespoke Grill: introduce the incredible beef from Argentina with, well, its A Taste of Argentina promo.
Running until March 31, the promotion has on offer three types of cuts: There is the Rib-Eye, aka the famous Argentine cut (P1,900++), Tenderloin (P1,800++), and Oyster Blade (P1,400++).
The Rib-Eye is perfectly seasoned, terribly tender, and has an eye-catching pink middle that signals you’re about to have a fine meaty time.
The Tenderloin, meanwhile is topped with veggie charcoal, which, apart from adding a nice smokiness to the meat, seals all the juice so when you cut the beef, you’re left salivating.
The slow-cooked Oyster Blade meanwhile was surprisingly tender and tasty, it’s almost a shame to put a dollop of sauce to it.
Speaking of sauces, each order comes with charred young vegetables, goat cheese and thyme crumble, and a choice of sauce – Chimichurri, Criolla, or Smoked Red Chili Sauce. Hot tip: try the Chimichurri.
Now that you've got your meat covered, allow us another recommendation: Have a glass, nay a bottle of Malbec. You won't regret it.
Until March 31. Available for lunch (11:30am - 2:30pm) and dinner (6pm - 10:30pm). Website. +632 3953356
