This favorite Makati restaurant will open for breakfast in October and wow, the menu is A+

Three years ago, Makati’s Your Local became the only Philippine restaurant included in Conde Nast Traveler’s “Where in the World to Eat” list. Take note: That was just two short years after chefs Denny Antonino and Nicco Santos opened its doors to the public.

Your Local continues to be a favourite for its signature Pan-Asian cuisine — we salivate just thinking about the Chicken Rice there, the Beef Rendang Buns, the Chilli Crab Buns, and the legendary Salmon Donburi.

In October, the Legaspi Village joint will be expanding its repertoire by opening for breakfast service.

“Our breakfast menu here is comforting, of course there’s still an Asian twist to it, but it’s all about comfort food… For us, we wanted to create food that you guys will crave for. Somewhat familiar, but you’ll taste it differently -- and uniquely -- here,” Chef Natalia Moran shares with GMA News Online, pointing out their Pan-Asian offers.

You might be wondering: If this is breakfast, then where’s the coffee? Well, it’s literally right next door. Your Local will be serving Yardstick coffee for your morning pick-me-up.

Foodies can expect a price point of about P300 to P550 per dish, but with the quality of food you’ll get (plus the generous serving), it’ll be money well spent.  

There’s no definite date yet when the full breakfast menu will be available, but one thing is for sure: Starting October 1, Your Local will open at 8am to serve the breakfast crowd of discerning palates. — LA, GMA News
