11 delicious dishes to try at the newly opened Spanish restaurant, BCN by Las Flores
Check out BCN by Las Flores, a newly opened Spanish restaurant in S Maison, serving classic Spanish cuisine.
If Las Flores, introduced Manila to the cosmopolitan, contemporary, and creative Spanish dishes, BCN aims to focus on "nice produce, cooked on grill, a little bit of olive oil and salt, and no more," Spanish Maestro Chef Alfredo Rodriguez tells GMA News Online.
"We don't try to do creative cuisine, just good produce cooked on charcoal grill," he continued.
Opened in early February, BCN is a 100-plus seater restaurant inspired by Barcelona; the three letters stand for the initials of the main airport of the Spanish city. There are a lot of conversation starters here —from the iconic paper maché giants on display to the street map with bird’s eye view of the famous city, and especially the floor-to-ceiling wall of wines that has over a hundred labels — easily making it a date place choice.
It’s easy to enjoy the modern yet elegant ambiance while you indulge in authentic Catalan culinary creations that use mostly imported ingredients, including the specialty seafood and steaks.
