Local burger shop Sweet Ecstasy, among the 50 best burgers in the world
Philippines' burger joint Sweet Ecstasy, aka Sweet X, has been listed as one of the world's best burgers in the world.
Sweet X took the 37th spot on Big 7 Travel's list of the 50 best burgers in the world.
The travel website described the burger place as something that focuses on "making what is just a ridiculously good and wholesome burger."
Big 7 Travel gave a special mention to Sweet Esctasy's "massive and mouthwatering" Western Bacon Cheeseburger, an off-the-menu item that will have you needing "two or three hands to hold it."

Sweet X first opened shop on Jupiter Street in Makati in 2012 and has since then expanded in more locations in Metro Manila including Quezon City, San Juan, Pasig, and Alabang.
Apart from the massive Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Sweet X boasts of having a vegan burger on offer — at least in its Makati and San Juan branches. It is made with Beyond Meat patties and its buns, cheese, and sauce don't have animal-based derivatives.
