How to make Suzi Entrata's cheezy tuna lumpia using canned tuna
Are you running out of recipes for canned goods while in quarantine?
Suzi Entrata just shared an easy recipe for some cheezy tuna lumpia rolls on "Unang Hirit," and all you need is a can of tuna and a few ingredients.
First you need to prepare the following:
- Canned tuna chunks
- Egg (1 egg is enough for 1 can of tuna)
- Cheese slices
- Lumpia wrapper
- Potato (diced)
- Carrot (diced)
- Spring onion
- Salt
- Pepper
Suzi starts by frying the potatoes and the carrots in a little bit of oil.
You then put the veggies in a bowl where you mix in the canned tuna, egg, spring onions and seasoning.
Now for the fun part: You take a lumpia wrapper and roll in the mixture with some cheese slices.
Finally, you fry it as you would a regular lumpia roll, but make sure you take out some of that oil by placing the roll on a paper towel or a strainer.
Not only is this cheesy treat so tasty — it's so easy to make that your kids can join in on the fun.
