Andi Eigenmann learns how to make Filipino kakanin called 'Puto Bolanghoy' in latest vlog


Andi Eigenmann is making the most out of her quarantine time in Siargao, this time learning how to make Filipino steamed rice cakes with coconut called Puto Bolanghoy.

In her latest vlog entry on her YouTube channel, Andi showed all the steps on how they make the Filipino dessert Puto Bolanghoy. She even featured her Auntie Marilyn, who is the mom of her partner Philmar. 

Andi said she wanted to make Filipino desserts when she moved to Siargao since she "found out that most of it are actually really healthy and they are plant-based."

Andi said the only kakanin she knew back then was puto kutsinta. "'Yun 'yung in our Filipino class, at sa school palaging may nagdadala nun," Andi said.

Just recently, Andi shared how they have picked up spearfishing as their new hobby. It looks like Andi and her family are mastering the island life even more amid the quarantine. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
