Fancy some itlog na maalat on your drink? This online store created shakes based on merienda classics

Tired of getting the usual milk tea? Try some of these shakes inspired by Filipino merienda classics!

Created by Lako, a startup online store, the beloved cold drink comes in five different flavors familiar to our Pinoy palate.

Their best sellers are Leche Flan con Langka Shake (P140) and Bibingka Shake (P150), which contains itlog na maalat!

Other flavors available are Champorado Shake (P150), Halo Halo Shake (P140), and Yema Cassava Shake (P140).

"We use all-natural products to come up with the taste," Lako told GMA News Online. "It took us almost 2 weeks doing several taste tests."

The store, which plans to establish a cafe in the future, is currently working on releasing a sixth flavor, the Ube Ensaymada Shake.

"Our plan is to promote Philippine provincial famous desserts and convert it into a blended drinks," Lako said.
