Here's an easy guide in making Maureen Larrazabal's kangkong with egg and tofu

If you want to eat a little healthier this quarantine, then we have a recipe just up your alley.

During a live "ECQusina" episode on Friday, Maureen Larrazabal showed viewers how to make a healthy yet delicious dish just by using kangkong, salted egg and tofu.

The actress shared that by eating kangkong, people can get rich vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin A, and even iron.

Before cooking the kangkong, first slice the tofu into cubes and fry it until it's golden brown.

Set that aside and using the same pan, sautee the garlic and put in the chopped salted egg.

Afterwards, you can finally put in the kangkong. Pour over raw egg and mix it all together. After adding salt, pepper and sesame oil, place the dish in a plate and add the fried tofu on top.

In just a matter of minutes with little preparation needed, you now have a healthy dish to eat!

"ECQusina" is an online show hosted by Kara David that goes live on Facebook every week. Hosts teach viewers how to make tasty dishes just with daily grocery items.

Other celebrities who have appeared in the show are Gladys Reyes, Christopher Roxas, and Ken Chan.
