How to transform 'kanin lamig' into James Teng's delicious yang chow fried rice

Do you have "kanin lamig" at home? Instead of just reheating it, why not turn it into yang chow fried rice?

In an "ECQusina" episode on Friday, James Teng showed his viewers an easy step-by-step guide in creating your own fried rice that even kids will love.

To make the meal, all you'll be needing are pre-cooked scrambled eggs, green peas, cabbage, kangkong, minced garlic and onion, and spare rice.

James shared that if your kids aren't a fan of vegetables, you can also put in hotdog or maling to make it appetizing for the children.

First, the actor said, chop up the maling or hotdog into bite-sized pieces.

Add oil to the pan and put in the rice first. After adding the minced garlic and onion, mix it all together before adding a few drops of Knorr to add extra flavor.

Then, add in the chopped kangkong, cooked scramble egg and Magic Sarap. When that's all mixed together, add your choice of meat, green peas and cabbage.

After cooking all the ingredients together, you now have your own yang chow fried rice!

"ECQusina" is an online show hosted by Kara David that goes live on Facebook every week. Hosts teach viewers how to make tasty dishes just with daily grocery items.

Other celebrities who have appeared in the show are Gladys Reyes, Christopher Roxas, and Ken Chan.
