Have you ever tried Adobong Turmeric? Here's how to make the yellow dish


You might have heard about Adobong Dilaw, a variation of the Filipino dish adobo.

In an episode of "Unang Hirit," a chef demonstrated how to make it. The secret ingredient? Turmeric!

First, fry garlic and onion in a pan of oil. Follow it up with turmeric, then the chicken meat.

Pour a bowl of vinegar into the mix, then season it with pepper. Add laurel on top, and then the sugar.

Let it all simmer for a while, then voila! You may now serve the dish.

The turmeric gives the adobo a distinct yellow color, but it will surely be just as delicious!  —JCB, GMA News
