Cebu cook comes up with green lechon for plantita customer


Looking for a new and aesthetic twist to lechon?

Instead of the crispy brown roasted pig many of us are familiar with, Ana Marie Batucat from Cebu has made the Filipino favorite’s skin green.

According to Athena Imperial’s “24 Oras” report, Sunday, Ana Marie was able to turn a lechon green after a plantita customer of hers requested something new.

According to the report, the customer loved the color and the taste, which came from all- natural herbs and spices.

Ana Marie also offers other colors upon request including blue and of course, the original.
