This heartwarming digital anthology is a must-watch for the whole family

We could all use an extra serving of positivity to get us through challenging days. For a lot of Filipinos out there, this could mean cooking something special to bring comfort to their families during meals.

 

Over the years, Filipinos have trusted MAGGI Magic Sarap as their partner in creating well-loved family dishes. The three films in this digital anthology were brought to life by the prime superstar and MAGGI cook-mare, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo. 

 

 

“Naintriga ako. Pag may bago, gusto kong subukan kasi hindi ko malalaman kung ano yung extent [ng] kapasidad ko bilang artista at bilang tao kung hindi ko maeexperience itong mga bagay na ‘to.” Judy Ann confessed when asked how she first felt upon reading the film scripts. “I’m really excited, more than anything, with MAGGI Kusinaserye [kasi] the stories are very simple, but they are very true. Nakakatuwa dito, yung bawat episode, iba ako.” 

 

MAGGI Kusinaserye is Juday’s first-ever digital anthology, through which she’s grateful to give joy to people despite the pandemic. “Nakaka-inspire umarte at ipakita sa mga tao na we’re all in this together.” she shares. “Nasa bahay man tayo, we can still be entertained; we can still be with our families."

 

The films are indeed something the entire family can enjoy. All three stories have their own unique flavor, with a common magical ingredient that brings them together: they all invoke a positive feeling in the viewers. There is a satisfying message of hope, acceptance, love, and laughter.
