Mendokoro Ramenba and Kumori has come up with the Melon Chashu Bun, a sandwich so good we didn't know we needed it
Mendokoro Ramenba and Kumori has partnered for a new Japanese fusion sandwich we didn't know we needed.
Meet the Melon Chashu Bun. It's comprised of Kumori's popular Melon bun, Mendokoro's melt-in-your-mouth Chashu slice, and some toppings and sauces for an explosion of flavors so unique it's almost out of this world.
Imagine, biting into the nice contrast of Melon bun's crusty exterior and chewy interior, which happens to be hugging a savory slice of Mendokoro's double marinated chashu. It's topped with pickled onions and lettuce drizzled with a yakitori sauce and has an added kick of homemade mustard sauce.
The Japanese fusion sandwich is available for a limited time — through the month of November, in fact — at Mendokoro Ramenba restaurants (Makati, BGC, and Alabang) and plus their online store.
Kumori meanwhile has the sandwich on offer in various Kumori locations like SM North Edsa, UP Town Center, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, Landmark Makati, SM Mall of Asia, SM Sta. Rosa; Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Festival Mall Alabang, in addition to their e-commerce website, and food aggregators, Grab, FoodPanda, Pick A Roo and MetroMart.
Each Melon Chashu Bun is available in boxes of 3 for P575 and individual packs for P199/piece. — LA, GMA News
