Making tusok-tusok isn't cutting it? A Cavite spot serves street food, buffet style
If street food on sticks is not enough for you, this vendor in Bacoor, Cavite, has the perfect solution.
Instead of the typical 'tusok-tusok,' which can only give you a small serving, Rosma's customers in Cavite can have entire bowls and plates to fill with their selection of street food.
An episode of Dapat Alam Mo! had Chef Charles Gerardo visit the Cavite street food spot to challenge him on how much street food he could buy with P200.
“‘Yung mga sawsawan nila, basic. Kailangan may suka na masarap. And of course, yung manong sauce, ‘yung sauce talaga na pang street food and staple talaga yung pipino,” Chef Gerardo said.
For the P200 challenge, Chef Gerardo was able to buy a cup of fried isaw, chicken skin, okoy, hotdogs, kwek kwek, fishballs, chicken balls, kikiam, and cheese sticks.
“Buffet style yung ginagawa nila, pwede mo ipa-init anytime basta naka-order na kayo. Sulit na sulit ‘yung P200,” he concluded his experience.
If you can't stay long to enjoy the street food on the spot, Rosma's can prepare on-the-go cups filled with different street foods that you can take with you immediately, with a starting price of P20.
