Kris Bernal is relaunching her first business 'Meat Kris,' shares why it's so special to her

Kris Bernal is relaunching her first business, Meat Kris, and on Instagram, she shared why it holds a very special place in her heart.

According to Kris, her burger business venture from 2016, paved the way for her to meet her husband.

"My very first business venture in 2016, Meat Kris, holds special meaning for me because without it, I never would have met the one for me," Kris began.

It's such a "meet cute" story: Perry's family owned the company that became the primary food supplier of Meat Kris.

But it didn't end there. Kris shared how Perry "developed the winner recipe of the Meat Kris burger patty, created unique burger combos, and helped me with the overall management of the stores."

"Ganito niya ata ako niligawan!" She added laughing. 

Kris opened the burger joint Meat Kris at the CommunEaty Roces Food Hub in Roces Avenue, Quezon City last 2016.

By early 2020, the two were engaged.

After much postponement, thanks to the pandemic, Kris and Perry tied the knot in 2021 and went on a European honeymoon in June 2022, where they visited one of the famous locations of "Crash Landing On You" in Switzerland.
