7-year-old celebrant becomes topper for giant birthday cake
We've all seen cakes with toppers, but have you seen one where the celebrant goes on top themself?
As seen on Kuya Kim's "24 Oras" report, Tuesday, a seven-year-old birthday celebrant wowed when they went on top of the dessert, which had a height of 15 feet and a width of 10 feet.
Though all guests had their own slice, organizers sure could say that making it wasn't a piece of cake as it took 16 people to finish it. Materials used were also different.
"Kasi hindi na kaya ng regular cake board, gumagawa kami ng plywood pati 'yung wall ng cake, it's also made of plywood. Para siyang naging base na nilagyan po ng cake," said pastry chef Cheryl Go-Chan.
"It took us eight hours to assemble because hindi po siya kayang ia-assemble tapos ita-transport, so we had to do it on site," she added.
With this, it sure is safe to say that the celebrant knew exactly how to stand out on their special day.
