Chinese food with a side of cocktails? This new BGC establishment is your next go-to spot

If there’s a cuisine that will fill you up for an entire night of social drinking, it’s Chinese.

The combination of hearty portions of and flavorful options make Chinese food an ideal cuisine for pairing with alcoholic drinks – and this is exactly what The Bistro Group has envisioned for Red Lotus, a newly-opened resto-bar in Bonifacio Global City.

Touted as the younger sister to Modern Shang, consider Red Lotus as a Gen Z-approved version of its predecessor with its cozy and stylish interior paired with ambient music suitable for a night out.

To set your expectations, Red Lotus is highly “Instagrammable” and TikTok-friendly, with dramatic black and rich red hues, and touches of gold resulting in a minimalist yet sophisticated and upscale setting.

In terms of its interior, Red Lotus' focal point is its bar, subdued with atmospheric lighting to highlight the display of an extensive selection of fine spirits and other types of alcohol.

You can always ask the bartenders to craft you a bespoke drink, but Red Lotus has prepared a menu of classic and specialty cocktails for your convenience, including Mojito (P368), Old Fashioned (P458), Amaretto Sour (P458), Red or White Sangria (P478), Sichuan Sour (P398), and Shanghai Spritz (P498), among others.

As for the food, it’s no bar chow, as Red Lotus offers full meals for guests’ satisfaction. Some must try dishes are Red Lotus Fried Rice (498), Shanghai Udon Noodles with Roast Duck (P598), Crispy String Beans (P348), Cuapao Pork Belly Roll (P368 /4 pcs.), and Premier Shrimp & Pork Siumai (P248 /4 pcs).

Red Lotus is located on 3/F, One Bonifacio High Street, BGC, Taguig City. For table reservations, contact @RedLotusPH on Instagram.
