BAKE Cheese Tart is closing down in the PH after 7 years

BAKE Cheese Tart has announced its permanent closure in the Philippines after seven years of operation.

The Tokyo-born cheese tart chain made the sad news public on Instagram.

“Thank you, Manila. Thank you for seven years of cheesy memories,” the post read.

BAKE Cheese Tart first opened in Manila at Podium Mall in December 2017. It later opened another outpost in Makati's Power Plant Mall.

Widely loved of its cheese tarts with creamy and savory cheese mousse filling inside a crisp, buttery crust, BAKE Cheese Tart also offered seasonal flavors like lemon cheese and milk tea cheese, and even soft-served ice cream.

Meanwhile, its international branches in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, and Hong Kong remain open.
