Just a quick drive away, the charming city of Antipolo offers a refreshing escape from the metro’s hustle and bustle with its cool breeze, Instagrammable views, and thriving food scene.

From cozy cafes tucked in lush gardens to restaurants with stunning views, Antipolo is home to great food spots for those craving a quick retreat.

Here are five Antipolo cafes and restaurants you should add to your list:

Ilona’s Place

Nestled in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Ilona’s Place was originally built as a house. After renovations, the restaurant opened its doors to the public in 2021 and is known for delicious meals, an inviting swimming pool, and a great view of the metro.

Some of their best-selling dishes include Bagnet Kare Kare (P860), Bagnet Tofu Tower (P490), Roast Beef (P750), Scampi Pasta (P490), Ilona’s Burger (P530), and Jiggs’ Truffle Mushroom Pizza (P520).

For Valentine’s Day, Ilona’s will offer a decadent five-course dinner (starts at P1,999), matched with the romantic melodies of a violin and sax duo.

Ilona’s Place is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

 

Bake and Crave Cafe

Also in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Bake and Crave Cafe is a cozy spot known for its freshly baked goodies and refreshing drinks.

Their must-tries include the Symphony of Tuna Pasta (P210), Sitio Shrimp Pasta (P260), Blueberry Cheesecake (P245), Iced Hazelnut (P170), and Dirty Matcha (P195).

Bake and Crave is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Silayan Coffee Shop

Located in front of Maia Alta Clubhouse, Silayan Coffee Shop is a relaxed cafe owned by sisters who curate their own menu items by heart.

They serve a variety of pastries, snacks, and drinks, including Iced Choc-Nut Latte (P170 for 22 oz), Iced Sea Salt Latte (P190 for 22 oz), Angus Beef Tapa (P265), and Beef Nachos (P270).

Silayan Coffee Shop is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

 

Miguel’s Garden Cafe

Set amidst lush greenery, Miguel’s Garden Cafe offers a refreshing dining experience perfect for brunch dates and intimate gatherings.

For February, they are offering a special promo for P1,999, which comes with the Cajun-Battered Fries, All Meat Pizza, Herb Chicken with Side Salad, 2 slices of Brazo de Mercedes, Rice Platter, and Iced Lemon Tea.

Miguel's Garden Cafe is located in Sitio Hopeville and is open Mondays to Fridays (11 a.m. to 1 a.m.) and Saturdays to Sundays (7 a.m. to 1 a.m.)

 

Yawn Coffee

For those planning to visit Hinulugang Taktak, Yawn Coffee is among the must-visit cafes near the famous falls.

They offer a selection of specialty coffee and sandwiches, including the Iced Spanish Latte (P150), Raspberry Iced Tea (P140), Iced Mocha (P150), and the best-selling Tuna Melt Sandwich (P120).

Yawn Coffee is located along Pinagmisahan St. and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
