Helm by Chef Josh Boutwood receives highest Michelin Star rating at inaugural 2026 PH guide
Helm by Chef Josh Boutwood has been awarded two Michelin Stars at the inaugural Michelin Guide Ceremony: Manila and Environs & Cebu 2026, held Thursday night at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Newport World Resorts.
Helm earned the highest distinction of the night, being the only restaurant to receive two Michelin Stars.
Speaking to GMA News Online, Boutwood said that the recognition “hasn’t sunk in yet.”
“I wasn’t expecting that,” he said. “I’m beyond surprised but also obviously extremely emotional at the same time."
“My team has worked extremely hard since the conception of Helm, and this is a testament to how hard we have pushed our boundaries—and we will continue pushing,” he added.
Aside from Helm, eight Philippine restaurants received one Michelin Star each.
Meanwhile, here is the full list of the recipients of Michelin Selected, Bib Gourmand, and special awards.
