Cibo makes it to the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2025!

Cibo has done it again!

The beloved modern Italian restaurant by the late Margarita Fores lands in the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains list of 2025.

 Cibo sits at the 31st spot, more than 10 rungs higher than its 44th placement last year. 

On the website, the 50 Top Pizza recognized the Filipinos' mall culture, which became a huge "consideration that Cibo was born almost thirty years ago by the late Margarita Fores," mentioned her son Amado as the one currently carrying on "with the same passion and love for Italy," and pointed to Stefano Canosci, from bringing "his experience and talent to make this project even more successful." 

"The pizza is served on a wooden board, elongated in shape, designed to be shared," 50 Top Pizza said on its website.

Of the recognition, Cibo took to social media and said "More than making the Top 50, it is about the joy in our kitchens, the steady craft in every dough, and the people who bring our pizza to life."

"Not every journey comes full circle. Ours did again this year," the restaurant said, saying they are celebrating the sweet triumphant moment with the rest of Cibo team "and the guests who have been part of our story." 

Da Michele, which started n Naples in 1870 and has locations in New York, Tokyo, Dubai, and Paris, took the top spot. The Big Mamma Group, Grosso Napoletano, Bras, and Luigia complete the top 5.

The awarding took place on Thursday in London, with Amado and Stefano accepting the plaque and the jacket for the only Filipino pizzeria on the list.
